My white whale has been taken. Ye shall be missed!

I got info last year that this guy swam a canal when I spooked him. He was taken across that same canal. Hope he laid the pipe a whole bunch. This buck owned me.

Actually glad someone took him. He was older and deserves to be celebrated for a long time.

Eh, it's deer hunting. Would've liked to get him, but a whole bunch of people's dream bucks end up coyote poo, or hit by cars, or killed by other bucks, or never seen again laying in a field.

It happens. At least I know what became of him and the hunter took him legally and ethically. All you can ask.

I know what it's like to be haunted by a giant buck that you just can't connect with!!! This monster has been haunting me since September 2013.

Was this in Austin Co? I talked to my taxi yesterday and he has 3 bucks that are 150" plus that he's received already and several 120-130" from AC...I haven't seen any that big yet, but have seen a couple that'll push 110"

Not really my call, but I've asked someone who knows the guy that shot him if he wouldn't mind telling me the kill story or letting me see the buck once it's mounted.

I agree thought he was a good mature deer better for someone to kill him and enjoy him than the dam yotes drag him down.

Several come and go and we just sit and keep looking for them.
