Man that's a great feeling. Just sitting here picturing that first deer of the season coming out of the brush to my feeder. Put my stomach in knots from excitement. I've hunted my entire life (but I'm a youngun at 25) but this is the first year in not hunting on my dads place. I bought a blind and a feeder and put it up on some family land. So I'm excited to see the fruits of my labor.

Anybody else got uncontrollable excitement?

Yup, couldn't fall asleep lastnight because I kept mulling my strategy over and over for this year.

Hate it when I stay up all night in anticipation...never know what can happen

I stayed up way too late last night, and it looks like I'm up to the same shenanigans tonight. I'm finally getting my last years buck from the taxi and he looks bigger than I remember. I'm pumped. cheers

Yes. As soon as I'm off work today, I'm gone.
