Had hogs on my camera at 8 pm sharp every night for a couple weeks. Sat out in blind till 9 2 days this weekend and never saw anything or got any pics. Sprayed down before entering woods. First day, tried hog caller on my electronic caller and got nothing. Second night, just sat quite. Nothing. Took most of the corn out of my gravity feed barrels Monday before I came home and put up a tripod feeder. They were hitting me for about 600 lbs. of corn in a month. Haven't been able to get the deer to come to the corn at all. Hope things get better.

Won't do u any good if the wind is blowing from your stand to the feeder. Good luck though. You'll get em
Fast paced gregarious society forgets the healing power of solitude. It's worked thousands of years. Casting a line/gazing into a campfire/sitting in a blind after a long week is medicine for the soul. The serenity and peacefulness of it all is majestic.

A lot of activity going on right now, last week was Youth Weekend this week people doing last minute preps and scouts. All regular activity is out of whack, the animals recognize that.

Acorns are falling and there are a lot of them this year. Once they start to rot the deer will pass and go back to your corn. The hogs will eat until there are no more acorns.

several years ago, hogs knocked my feeder on tripod over, so hung old cable from two trees. seen on here were some had staked the legs down on their tripod feeders. stray &neighbors dogs keep hogs moving around here. hogs follow the creeks, best wishes. edit: this android is all over the place. know my spelling is bad, this thing makes it worse, don't do no good ta complain. my posts are cheep.
