I bought Mid-back office chairs at Walmart for my blinds. I think they are around $55 now.

I have one similar to what STX posted above, leftover from the office. Work well and adjustable. See them quite often on Craigslist as mentioned above.

I get them from places like Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity, Red, White & Blue Thrift Stores, etc., usually in the $10-$15 range.

How close are you to La Porte, TX? There is a furniture store there that sells used office chairs for $20. Super nice, high back, swivel seats, on rollers.

I grab them when I see them. It never hurts to have an extra in the shed for a new blind or to replace one that a buzzard crapped all over after your "buddy" left the blind door open. bang

What's the name of the store? I need to pick up another couple of chairs to replace the ones I stole from my kids desks at home.

Thanks,
Rich

Name and location of store would be great! I found one on the side of the road a few days ago. Somone 'thought' it was broke, I guess. Adjustment knob was off and sitting next to it. threw it in the back of the truck and took it home. Put the knob back on and it works like a charm. Casters are all good and hydraulic lift works great too......WINNING!!

I think you will find that a chair with arms makes a big difference.
