Just started hunting last year, and before today, I have killed 4 hogs total. All singles.
This morning I was in my blind watching my feeder. I set up my feeder with a pen around it but left one place where hogs could get under for now. I figured I could close it when we got into deer season if I wanted to keep the hogs out. Anyway, just after it got light this morning I could hear the hogs. Took a couple of minutes, but here they came, from behind my pen. Watched them for a couple of minutes and there were 6-8 of them, no little ones. A few of them got inside the pen, so I picked the biggest which was still outside the pen. Went ahead and shot him, and it was on. Emptied my rifle, a total of 5 shots (.270 lever action Browning). Killed 3 of them. The one outside and 2 that didn't get out of the pen in time. Great fun.

That sounds like a good set up for some fun hog shooting. I bet they were bouncing around that pin like pinballs! Congrats
Fast paced gregarious society forgets the healing power of solitude. It's worked thousands of years. Casting a line/gazing into a campfire/sitting in a blind after a long week is medicine for the soul. The serenity and peacefulness of it all is majestic.

Haha I hunted a property that had a fenced feeder with one panel missing so hogs could get in. Similar outcome.
