I put a TC on a scrape that has been used now for the last 3 yrs. Kinda interesting to see how the activity has picked up over the past week or so. Scrape is under the only Oak Tree in that area for some distance so I had to put camera very close to the actual scrape on the same tree. Pics are not the best due to being so close to it.

This hog in lower left corner decided to check the scrape out also. He was in a couple of pics before this and one after this on a trail just to the right side of the pic.

One of those WTF is this in these pics when I was going through the pics first time. The camera is set on multi-shot taking 2 pics one after another with no new trigger. First one appears to be a coyote running through the frame setting off the camera sensor. Second pics was the second on the multi-shot set and it caught what appears to be an owl chasing or following after the coyote.

Good pics. I just moved a camera to a scrape line that has just showed up this week. Time will tell what is showing up.

Those are interesting images. Nice to see mix of ages & antler sizes/shapes. Aim it slightly to the left & it'll pick up what's under the feeder too.

Is the last pic a flying squirrel?

There is a TC on the feeder already. That last pic is an owl that was seconds behind the coyote. TC was on multi-shot mode.

Interesting photos STX. Neat to see the "behind the scenes" pics at a scrape.

I re-positioned one of my TC's, to try and catch some activity at some scrapes as well, will be interesting to see the behavior. I wasn't able to get mine as close as yours and may not be able to get many decent photos though.

I actually wish it was about 5-8' farther away from the scrape than it is. So far I think I have had over 12 different bucks use that scrape this year. The rut is about ready to kick off and expect a few more new ones to show up. Had 4 show up in the past month now.

Cool pics.

I have been wanting to do a test on some scrapes this year and set some cams up on them to see what happens. I have some very old Tinks 69 (at least a decade old) and some other very old estrous stuff. Been thinking about putting some on the scrapes and see what kind of reactions I get.

I have always heard that you need to throw all your left over scents out each season but I am curious if its just marketing BS or sound advice.

Be interesting test is you take and try it on an established active scrape then start a brand new one with the old product.
