Tawakoni WMA. You'll have to buy the AHP to hunt there(48.00). I bow hunted for deer there a couple of times. Not the best squirrel hunting the state has to offer,but better than nothing I suppose.

scratch best public places i've found are golf courses. but they kinda frown on people pulling out a 4ta5 iron & shooting a whole -in-one i was a member of a country club . Tawakoni has 3 different area's pawnee 1,381 acres caddo creek 162 acres & duck cove 792 acres, looking at old book $48.00 permit as said above in other post. best wishes flag
