Now seeing bucks alone and rambling in East Texas. And the ones I've seen look healthy and above average overall.

They are out here this morning , i was on the front porch drinking my coffe and had some good bucks chasing a little not full on but they where getting the does number thats for sure .I had about 60 in the filed and only about 10 bucks though so the big boys are still hadding out .

Watched a mature buck chasing a doe this morning. He looked like a cutting horse trying to keep her in an open coastal field. He stopped to watch us for a second and and that was just long enough to lose his battle.

Here in Erath, watched a nice 10 trying to mount him a doe. She didnt want nothing to do with it...
