I have an ex sister in law that lives just outside of Roxton. Yes, she has deer on her property. Her son took a nice 8 point there a few years ago.

I appreciate it. Trying to talk my buddy into hunting his property. He duck hunts there but said he didn't know if there was deer there.

Used to be on a lease in that area, had taken nice bucks and good mature does. Has pigs there also. Wish I could of stayed, owner passed and sister took over, no camping, no ATMs, then went all archery. C YA

I appreciate it. Trying to talk my buddy into hunting his property. He duck hunts there but said he didn't know if there was deer there. Ask him if you can do a little walking around, checking for sign. Don't make it a big deal if you find tracks. If he imbibes, get him a bottle or two, and ask him if you can put up a feeder. If he's a good buddy, he'll be all over this. You may convert a duck hunter to a deer hunter.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it. Don't text and drive.

Have a coaching buddy that grew up on a farm in Roxton. Dove hunt and help him combine every year. Quite a few deer and have seen some good bucks in their milo and wheat fields.
Talent is a gift, character is a decision.

There are deer in the area. Not a lot of mass on the bucks I have seen taken from there but some good width.
