I haven't been out in Wise county, but I'd imagine the high winds we've had here lately, knocked most of the acorns out of the trees. The corn will continue to pill up....till the acorns are gone or they ruin!

Was thinking about checking my cameras today, but yall may have just talked me out of that drive.

Had some back issues this summer so my feeders sat idle for quite a while. Just had them running again for 3 weeks.

Hoping for a good year, but not expecting much.

Yeah, I'm not too active on here in the off season. Maybe check in every few days.

Neighbor says he isn't seeing much. Going to get out there tomorrow to check on things. Hopeful I'll be surprised.

Spencer,

I'm south of decatur on 4196 having some good movement. Got s hot at a buck opening week, but missed it. Haven't been able to hunt much since then, with the lull on not a lot of movement.

My land is about 5 miles North of Wise. Acorns everywhere and zillions are till on the trees. Almost nothing seen by bow hunters.

Good info guys. Setting up a last minute spot near Pooleville this weekend. Place covered in oaks and some native pecans
