My hunting partner and myself are looking for "what's next". I am really thinking that I would like to take a scimbok or a gemsbok (if I could afford it). My partner is looking for an addax or a good quality red stag (300+). I wanted to see what is out there and if anyone has any suggestions on who to talk to. I am thinking of doing this next year. I am fairly open on dates after March, but if we end up booking for stags it will be conducive to when they have their headgear. I am open to both archery or rifle, but if it is archery then my partner will need to be allowed to use a crossbow. We don't require anything to fancy, but as we are coming from Washington State we will need lodging for 3-4 days. I normally like to fly out on a Sunday and return home Wednesday late. I look forward to hearing what THF members recomend.

i would check out mountain shadow hunting preserve in maine for stag.
you get a lot more horn for your $, as he breads most of the stag that are shipped across the country to game ranches. Has a great preserve set aside for hunting. We hunted a couple days and didn't see a thing, makes it as tough as a hunt as you can get in the fence. And again his prices and quality of stags are hard to beat.

Addax and oryx prices are going up based on auction prices. If you find a good deal jump on it.
