If you shoot a 13 inch wide deer in one county is it legal to take another 13 inch or greater deer in a different county?

And it is possible to shoot 3 bucks, if you hunt certain counties in south Texas.

You can go to 3 different AR counties and shoot a buck over 13" in each county if you wanted.

Don't overlook that you can take two spikes in those two-buck counties where spikes are legal. Of course, doing so would fill your limit of bucks in that county, meaning you could not shoot a 13-inch or greater buck in that same county. Still, something to remember late in the season when you still have a buck tag left and another spike walks out on you.

So you can kill a 13" or greater buck in say Montague county then go to Wise county and shoot another 13" or greater buck? I heard the counties can't be touching one another.

No, they can't begin with the same letter.

Never heard or read such a thing.

Okay. So I can take a 13" buck from both counties and should be good. I've read it in the annual and didn't remember anything about two counties touching but I heard that the other day from another hunter.

Id asked the game wardens of each county you hunt in. That way you will know for sure.

I used to hunt Wilson and Karnes counties which touch and I asked both game wardens if I could shoot 13" or greater in both. They said yes.

He was either jerkin your chain or he doesn't know the regs either.
But I wouldn't worry to much about it.
It's hard enough to kill just one buck, much less 2.
3 bucks, fergit bout it!!! roflmao

Well I live in wise county and hunt behind my house through the week. Usually good some decent bucks on this place. And it has no hunting pressure on 3 sides. Then go to the lease in Montague on the weekends. 2 bucks can be done easily enough for the time I spend in the woods.

What if the county line runs through your lease?
