This all started last year when I was guiding a couple on the ranch we run game management on. We were cramped up in a 4x8 blind and the lady was freezing (it snowed 8") I was sitting there looking at the power company pole 8ft from the blind and the wheels got to turning. So I told them I was going to build a Condo Blind on this spot and hook it up to the pole. The husband laughed at me so I told him he would have his very own pop up blind down there on the ground to hunt from while his wife stayed nice and warm with me in the Condo I built the base a couple weeks ago and the Wife and I went up to get it in the dry this last weekend. It has an 8x12 base and is 7'3" at the peak. It sits 10ft off the ground and you can see for days from up there. We still have to finish out some trim and put in a few more windows but it will be ready by opening morning. It will be hooked up to power next week and we will install the A/C, Heater, Microwave, dorm fridge, and TV once I get it all wired. We're going to add a water collection system from the roof to give the deer water to drink when they come to eat,but I can't decide if I want to plumb the blind or just leave it for the deer. I think an RV toilet in the corner would be nice (with privacy curtain) but the wife told me that there is NO WAY a woman would use it with a guy in the blind First wall up Second wall up Have I mentioned my wife is my HERO I'm not real fond of heights so she put the roof on for me I sure do LOVE HER Got it in the dry Now I just have to build the ladder inclose the bottom with a privacy fence to act as a garage to park the ranger and install a few more windows and wire it and we will be set to hunt

SPECTACULAR. Brings new meaning to the expression we all use on Monday when we are telling the non-hunters how we were roughing it in the woods!

Those things bring out the kid in me. Treehouse that doubles as a deer blind.

So where is the restroom being installed? And how much will it cost to run a utility line to it? That looks like its going to be a very comfortable blind sir!

You putting a bed in there? Yes we are buying two cots that will hang up on the ceiling when not in use. The idea is that we can slip into the blind in the middle of the night and crash there till just before shooting light wake up and hunt. Not to mention when it snows up in the panhandle we will be able to stay all day in comfort. So where is the restroom being installed? And how much will it cost to run a utility line to it? That looks like its going to be a very comfortable blind sir! The Utility line is 10ft away, and since we got the land owner to sign off on the contract it will only cost about $225 to put a transformer and new pole up and then I can run the wiring from there.

I love this idea... imagine how good it would be for a kid set up... I might have the futon route not the cot but w/e. I would put a normal feeder one way and protein the other. More pics please! lol

More pics please! lol Will get more pics when I go up to finish it next week. It sits on the edge of a 400 acre CRP field with a pasture with deep draws behind it. I have a 600lb corn feeder at 100 yards a double barrel feeder 600lbs corn 600lbs protein at 175 yards and about three acres of food plots planted in strips in the CRP between the two. The smaller blind that we had there we often had mule deer inside of 5 yards from the blind and they are cool to watch so I'm looking forward to taking some clients kids with us for sure.
