How do you all hunt the 4" of water 4' of silt places? No way to survive a hunt walking in waders in that crap.

Kayak?
Paddle boat?

Worried about getting a small boat stuck with not enough room to float, then it seems you'd be in quite the pickle.

I blew my knee out and after surgery there is no way I can hunt in that. I get stuck all the time, so be careful. I take my boat as close as I can and then walk as close as I can get. I think a kayak would work and if you get stuck, use one leg to push yourself out...

Any recommendations? Every place you go has the lightest, most stable, most affordable kayak in their opinion.

Even with a surface drive you still gotta ditch the boat and walk back where you are hunting, I carry a lightweight kayak in my big boat and paddle back to where I'm hunting in the shallows. Screw walking around in 3-4 ft silt.

No, too heavy for a small boat but a small longtail would work.
Sometimes you just have to hunt from the boat.

A copperhead might work!
