I have been hearing some turkey gobble the past week to 10 days now when sitting in the blind. I got this pic of a gobbler strutting at a water trough on October 16th. Had this family of Bobcats at water on October 14th. Two young ones have great spots already.

I like watching bobcats also just that morning I had deer in front of me and others heading in to corn. They looked up and took off. I knew it was either coyotes or bobcats that spooked them. I was in a blind about 90 yards from this water trough, but could not see it.

Great pictures, makes me want to be at the lease now. We have seen a lot of turkeys this year and appears others have as well. Two weeks ago I had 12 gobblers/jakes come to a feeder. Generally we don't see many turkeys this time of year....maybe it is the little bit of extra rain we have had in our area this year.

stx, that water trough sure does bring in the bobcat's, huh? There is not much surface water or water troughs in this area. There used to be only 2 close to me and I have added 2 troughs now. I can go weeks without a pic of a Bobcat at water then get several in a weeks time. Then nothing for a while again. I have only shot 1 Bobcat and caught 3 in traps. I took these pics about 2 yrs ago now.
