Seen a doe with two yearlings. Another stand had a lot more activity. Going after a doe this evening hoping for a little meat in the freezer. Will post more updates as service allows.

Hey, what part of Montague Co. Are you hunting in? I've got a place in northwestern Montague Co. Been seeing some decent bucks.

North of Saint Jo. On the Northeast side. Would have posted more updates Saturday evening but didn't see anything to update about. Nothing but a skunk.

I hunt north of St Jo
West of Capps Corner
I'm seeing plenty of deer, just no good bucks yet.
It is early though. Two weeks from now,, it should be different.

I am near Montague and Jack county. Is the rut kicking up yet? Thought about going down this weekend for some bow action.
