Hey guys,
I know it might be hard to know for sure? But for the 5 major sheep species in Texas (European Mouflon, Armenian Mouflon, Transcaspian Urial, Afghan Urial, and Red Sheep), which ranches in Texas have pure representatives you think for the 5 species. For example it is believed that Priour has the only pure Afghan herd in the US.

Garet Von Netzers' Mouflon are as pure as they get. I have hunted them multiple times with him. I am pretty sure he got them from Walt at the Priour...way back in the day.

Ricky Hunt has some nice looking Mouflon. He's on this forum now and then. I think his website is huntsbowhunting.com

Circle H on Armenians and TCU. Their Reds are great stock too. They do bring in some TCUs and Armenians into their red herd and are open about it.

I have some really nice sheep I have pure bred Red sheep over 30
We took 5 armenian mouflon from a pure bred heard this past year that will all be in the top 10
I shoot some really nice afghans
and I have some really nice looking transcaspians that are pure as well.
One of my really good friends raises some of the finest mouflon in Texas he had the record until recently we have taken a bunch of mid to upper 30 inch animals and the record was just over 40 I didn't shoot him. But you can see his breeder as pretty as they come about 35 inches.
