Built this for the wife for a coffee bar. About to stain the top dark but you get the idea. Pretty simple but turned out nice I think.

Thanks. For the top I just bought a 10ft 2x10, cut it in half and used wood glue and clamps to press them together for about 24 hrs.
I can get closer pics tonight.

Looks good, I like it. We used that pipe to make a bunch of racks to hand all my table cloths on that we rent out. Think we have 5-6 thousand table cloths hanging on maybe ten of them with two levels each. Many uses black pipe can be used for with some creativity.

cheers

Finished! Stain/sealer needs to dry longer but we're impatient. Goes well in the house I think.

Close up for Matt.

Thanks. That looks great. Got a room I can't figure out what needs to go in it and what size, and this is just the ticket....

You just buy a long one and Home Depot will cut and thread it for you.

Nice job....that does look great! We've been wanting an island for the kitchen and that might be just the ticket. I'll show it to the wife, I think she'd want a butcher block top but you can buy those cut to fit.

Yeah that would actually make an awesome island with a john Boos butcher block top. I'd put in on casters.

Well I had a customer that went dumpster diving at an apartment complex and came up with a bunch of misc. pieces of 1" pipe and 3 of those flanges. I saw it in his shop and I lit up. I showed him this thread and he gave them to me so I could get started. Merry Christmas he said! Lol

She wants one for Christmas, and she actually used to work with this guy. Pretty cool how things work out like that.
