Long story short..

Made a 20 yard chip shot at a sharp angle after holding full draw for three minutes. Shot was a touch high a few inches back to compensate for angle, hit opposing shoulder and bounced back, haven't found arrow, I have video I'll load in a few. I let him lay an hour before tracking startled but his blood trail headed where I walked unintentionally bc it is the only way out of the stand.

I have trailed drops of blood every few feet for 5 hours, low and slow

Hit a creek that is partially dry and wet. Can't relocate blood. I a guide full time and really feel the deer is dead after seeing hundreds of shots on deer.

I was shooting 60# on a Mathews, brand new rage two blade with chiseled tip.

BOUNTY....
I have $400 for who can find this buck in the next 24 hours as this is a 5.5yo buck I have been hunting/passing on since he was two. I know things happen but I'm obviously sick about it. Several things went wrong causing this included a no perfect shot. I have harvested a lot of deer in my time but never lost a single one, especially one that is this important to me.

My cell is 254-722-9031 call at anytime, if I don't answer please leave a message

Cody, I saw a list of people that do this a few months ago on here. Try to do a search. Good luck ! Hopefully you can find him in morning!

I don't have a dog, but I live nearby. I could lend a hand if needed.

guns kill people, like spoons made Rosie O'donnel fat.
