What times are you all feeding? Once in the morning and evening? Twice?

We've always set for one feeding in both the morning and evening (currently 7:00 AM & 5:15 PM).

I don't do all-day sits often and as such I like to condition the deer to visit the feeders after dawn and before dusk.

I do 7am and 5pm for 4 seconds each.

So much natural food out right now my feeders are not getting hit all that much.

0600 & 1700

This for the most part. But I feed with a road feeder and it is when I getting to the stand. It might be 15 minutes before daylight in the morning and 1-2 hours before sunset in the afternoon depending on temp and time of the year.

Pretty close to what I do. I always set by sunrise and sunset.
Since TPWD allows you shoot 30 minutes before sunrise, that's what I set the morning feeding at. When the feeder spins, I can shoot.
Evening I do an hour before sunset.
I adjust every few weeks during deer season.

Sometimes in the mornings I have to allow for cloud cover and/or fog. Which can make seeing at shooting time almost impossible.

I have mine set for 7:30 am and 5:30 pm, in middle of hunting season that will put it right at first light in am and about 30 minutes prior to sunset in pm (accounting for time change of course, but I will not set anything back or change settings when time changes). This weekend it made it right at sunrise and about 90 minutes before sunset.

True, during archery I will run a little later in the morning, hard to see the sights that early.

We tried something a little different this year on the feeders that do not have panels.

Currently the feeders are going off at 8:00AM and 5:20PM. The theory is that if the feeders go off later in morning and earlier in the afternoon we won't feed as many hogs (especially early as in now or October)

We also went ahead and set the time of day back an hour, so that when the time does actually change the time of day & feed times won't change (so we are more or less backing into the feed times as the days get shorter) Once the time does actually change the feed time will be 7:00am and 4:20am

That is the last thing we do before we leave on Sunday to head back home.

0630 and 1700, and I do not use tripod feeders here in the Pineywoods. I use 5 gallon buckets and pull them 20-30 feet up in a tree. I have way more success like this.

I have a squirrel that feeds the deer so it depends on when he shows up.
