Anyone hunting in NTX this weekend? This week's heat will be followed Friday by a cold front rolling in from the north, with good chances of rain and about 20-25 degree drop in temp.

The wind will set up perfectly for my tripod as my son tries for his first archery deer. Hoping the cool weather has the deer moving a little and we get some good action.

My place is around Bowie. We have so many acorns that I doubt that the weather change will help much. I've cut some of my feeders to 1 second.

Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.

This is my first year with a lease near Bowie. I am glad to hear others are having a build up of corn. Mine are set at 3 seconds and the ground is full of corn. Hoping that changes when the acorn #s fall.
