Never shot duck but will be this year. I have a Browning citori white lightning. It has a full choke and a improved in the tubes now. I've never shot steel before as I've only dove hunted. What chokes do I need to run steel and not hurt my gun? The gun is a 20 ga too so any load recommendations are appreciated also.

The chokes you put in need to be rated for steel. That being said, steel patterns tighter than lead. 99% of the time I use IC for steel. Once in a while I might put in a mod.

Arise.Kill.Eat -Acts 10:13 I have read a bunch of stuff on the internet about Star Wars but that does not mean I can skin a deer with a light saber.

shoot hybrid steels, like heavy metal. Shot size and choke should be patterned. Decoying birds skeet or IC , passing mod is plenty. I shoot #2 and 3's at big ducks. 3.5 oz if really mad at them

3.5 oz if really mad at them I of course know what you meant.... but wholly crap, a 3.5oz load would be a shoulder breaker for sure. Either than or a shotgun destroyer.

I got 2 kicks in full. Thanks for the recommendation. If I don't like 2 fulls since I shoot over under I can give my dad one of em or put it on my a5 and get a modified. Thanks again

It can get a bit confusing when talking about chokes because different types of shot will pattern differently. Then you have some aftermarket choke makers that actually chokes with the idea that they will be used for waterfowling and steel shot. The chokes may be labeled "full" but might actually be less constrictive than a factory full choke.
I'd say most people probably just use IC or Mod chokes. I have a "Full" Kicks choke that is meant to be used with steel shot that I've used a few times when goose hunting.
Dear Lord please bullwhip me for saying this but I agree, Marcstar is in the lead. Please nobody use this as a quote!!!
