It's probably been discussed, but my search function is not pulling up anything. In your opinion which ground blind would be best for the SHNF and/or public hunting? I want stay around $100 and I want something small, compact with a low profile. Has anyone had experience with the Hunting Chair Blind? Any opinions would be appreciated.

Depends. Are you planning on just rifle or Bow as well? Because the one you listed above looks good for just rifle. http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/pr...1006&r=view

here is one that might work better- I might get one this weekend for SHNF. you can stand up- see 360 degrees and with the mesh keep more of the mosquitoes out!

Just rifle for now. I haven't gotten into bow hunting yet and if I do then I'll probably just do a crossbow.

I went through this recently and decided to get a climbing stand after walking in the forest. It is pretty thick where I have been so far so getting up in a tree gives me a better view than from the ground. I hope to get in there soon and check out some other reason that may be more open.

Thanks,

I bought an ameristep gunner. It was cheap and has a low profile, hopefully I can find a spot to set up when I go out to scout.
