Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I am a soon to be new resident of Texas.(Currently Indiana) I am really enjoying reading through all the great threads on THF and the great advise that is being given. I am a life long outdoors man that has hunted / fished & trapped all of my life. I am hopeful that I can get on a lease next year and in the mean time find a couple places to just hang out this year to enjoy the outdoors. I will be busy Monday~ Friday but if there is any one that would need help doing any outside chores that are close to San Antonio area please feel free to let me know. I had the good fortune of growing up on a dairy farm so I have farming experience. I realize that there probably isn't many people that cut fire wood around the area, but if there is I would love to help.

The only firewood cut here is mainly for BBQ's. Winters don't get that cold down in this area much anymore.

do you have your own chainsaw? Trailer? Beer cooler (got to be Yeti)? If you answer yes to all three questions then you will get along fine with folk in your neighborhood.

Hello Colt 45, I hunt just about everything that is availiable here in Indiana, which is Deer, Duck, Squirrel, Turkey, Coyote, fox, Dove and trap any critter I can. I have two bow's, a Carbon Matrix RKT and a spider. The Matrix is my main bow and it is 80lb. the Spider is what I use for Turkeys and it is 70Lb. Oh I have a 3rd. it is an old reflex and is set up for bow fishing.

Have chainsaws, trailers & beer cooler, but it is not a Yeti. I am sure they are nice and all but I have never been in a situation where I have needed one.
