Just got my first AR 15. Came with a forearm grip equipped with built in light and laser. When hunting deer, I know you cannot use the laser. What about hog hunting ? If I am in the stand during deer season, does the laser have to be completely removed from the weapon or can be left on and just not activated ? Most of my hogs are killed when I am sitting waiting on a deer to come in during the season.

I would take it off. Wouldn't even take the chance.

Removed. I've shot many a hog with my AR's while deer hunting. Have yet to need a laser guidance system to be successful.

coffee spelled backwards is eeffoc. I don't give eeffoc until I have my morning coffee.

remember on a lazer the it is only right on at the range u sight it in on... The only time a lazer might have been useful for me was jumping pigs in the field and running along beside them at night...as for taking it off, I probably wouldn't unless is lightened up the gun a lot

Sombody smells like fried borritos...
