Has anyone shot light 2 3/4" shells in a 3 1/2" maxus. How well did it cycle them?

Mine cycles them just fine.

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.
Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

Mine does good but it does hang occasionally with dove loads. I'm not the best at keeping it clean either though. Still love the gun and wouldn't trade it for any other but I am considering getting a 3" for the dove loads.

I have one and its the only gun I hunt with. For dove I buy the cheapest shells as long as they're not made by Remington. I've never had a problem with my maxus cycling Rios estates or any of the other cheap light loads.

Have had it for 4 or 5 years several hundred rounds per year not a single problem from 7/8 Oz light load to heavy goose loads.
