Rage is my choice. Never done me wrong. Shot my last 5 deer last couple seasons with the same broadhead and goldtip arrow. I just resharpen blades. Even seen them save a bad shot and still take down a deer with the great wound channel. Just my .02

Why would you want to change from grim reapers? 2" whitetail special is a killer

God is deep but he is not complicated.

My first bow was a pearson 440 quad (pretty slow for today's standards).. I shot muzzy 100s and they were awesome. for the same price you got twice as many, they were tough and killed plenty hogs and deer.

When i bought my matthews a few years back they wouldn't fly straight so i switched to the trophy taker shuttle t 100g.. haven't looked back since. They fly like field points and I've never had one fail on me! My buddy took them to Africa and killed Kudu, Nyala, Baboon, Warthog, and a zebra all with 100g shuttle t's. His uncle also hit a pronghorn at 101 yards with the same broadhead.

rage 3 blade is what I have used for years, but I am trying out the new Shwacker this season. Just thought I'd change it up a bit. Also heard from some good buddys that the G5 mechanicals are really sweet. May give them a whirl as well.

2 Blade Rage and Slick Trick depending on which bow I am shooting.

As a sidebar, I shot a does here in VA last weekend using a crossbow and a Swacker broadhead. Complete pass-through at 53 yards ...took out the heart and it hit the "elbow" of the opposite front leg and almost severed it completely. The leg was dangling. I regret not taking a picture. I had seen Hank Parker (who I believe owns the company) rave about these on his TV program so wanted to see what they would do. Pretty impressive at the devastation but I have no reason to switch from the Rage 2 Blade.

I really dont have personal experience to add, as I havent yet shot anything with my bow yet (hoping to change that this weekend!) but my buddy took a crap shot on a deer with a rage and it did this according to him:

The broadhead skirted along the side of the deers spine, went through four ribs before angling upward and hitting the ear. The deer ran 50 yds and dropped. I cant verify this for sure but I dont see why he would lie about it to me as he sent me these privately. Thats some crazy damage from the Rage! I'll be shooting the slick tricks this weekend, hopefully I'll have good things to report :-)

I've been using Slick Tricks and QAD Exodus, but I just ordered some Xecutioners to try them out this year. I'm looking forward to seeing what they will do.

The old rage broadhead were notorious for doing that and not actually going in to make a kill. After several tracking jobs from hunters using the older style rage broadheads, we had to stop allowing them to be used if the hunters wanted to hunt here. These were the broadheads they first came out with. Certain angle shots would not penetrate but would rip along the side of the animal without kiling it. Bad shot placement by hunter was the main thing, but really those heads were the only ones that were doing that on our hunts. I have since had better experiences with the chisel tip broadheads on recent hunts.

Same thing I've used since before the compound bow was invented.. Zwickey's and 200gn Muzzy Phantoms. Why change; they've been working for years, and I don't think anyone will invent anything ever that will replace what I use.
