I made a belt for a friend of mine in Texas, and he was telling me that he likes horizontal pocket knife sheaths. However, he says they get loose fairly quickly, and knife falls out. I told him I would try to wet mold one like a pistol holster to see if that solved the problem.

This is my working prototype. Made from 9 ounce saddle leather, wet molded to fit a case Trapper, and hardened like a conceal carry holster. Should out last the simple pouch style ones you get at the feed store. Now I need to figure out how to make them pretty.
