My buddy and I are currently on a lease in Sonora this season. We are actively seeking to procure our own lease for 3-4 hunters for next season in that same area. We would consider LLano, Junction, Brady, etc. We would like it to be annual, so we could work/hunt year round. We are looking for low fence/no fence, no grazing animals, and opportunity for free range exotics.

Well, I thought this was supposed to be a helpful place. I guess it is a joke to request what you are actually looking for? We are on a lease without grazing animals....or oilfield traffic.....for the last 2 years. I could do without the ridicule. We are just looking for a smaller version of what we already have.

trevors24 - Why are you getting off the Sonora lease? No grazing or oilfield is unheard of there. Heck, stay there and I'll join you. Let me know the particulars. Sonora/Ozona/ and a little west is the perfect distance and convenience from my house.

Creek Runner, it is a corporate lease, and that comes with some ever changing rules and the accompanying politics. It would be perfect, if it were our personal lease, but we have no control over when we can go, etc. It is an awesome place, we just want something smaller that we can afford.

No intent to ridicule! That's just rather rare. I have a place that would be good for 3-4 hunters but there are rotating livestock!

Mogul, might hit you up. I was just frustrated, as I am relatively new to hunting. I will let you know. Is your place low fence? Are there any exotics?
