A bird still tastes the same with or without a band!!!
I don't always shoot deer, but when I do, I prefer B&C's. I don't always shoot ducks, but when I do, I prefer banded ducks.

Thanks for the replys. Here is just a update on the information we got back on these teal. the 1st teal was banded in North Dakota and was 9 years old. The 2nd teal was banded in Meota, Saskatchewan Canada and was 2 years old. And yes they do taste good with or without those bands.

Played competitive golf for over 20 years, never had hole in one. Hunted over 30 years, never shot a banded bird. Have a buddy who plays golf once every 2 years and hunts once every 4. He has 3 holes in one and 2 banded birds. Your post made me laugh. Sounds like your friend should start buying lotto tickets, and you should save your money, Lol. It's interesting to me to hear that some of y'all keep such detailed records, I'm impressed. I wish I had done the same thing.
