My original feeder fell over with me trying to straighten the legs. A brace broke. Anyway this dumped about 200 lbs of corn on the ground. I put a new feeder up and only salvaged about 100lbs off the ground. The rest I figured would get eaten up by coons\dove\deer. Well the corn has been there so long some of it started growing. No deer are jumping into the pen now. The landowner recently did some bulldozing nearby, I recently built the pen around it and I am on the edge of wheat field.
Are they just not hungry or is the soured corn running them off? I plan on digging a hole and burying as much of it as I can shovel up this weekend. It has been rained on several times so its pretty sour\moldy. I am only throwing 2 secs worth of corn 2x day. In which it doesn't throw where the corn pile is at the back of the pen.
thanks

They will eat the fresh corn and leave the moldy unless there starving. If you have corn stalks growin and mold you've had ample rain and that's the main reason their really not hitting the fresh corn much.

Open it up one weekend (or day) before season and let the hogs clean it up.
How come everybody I meet is a deer hunting expert?
