nope, they will be back to normal in no time depending on how hungry they are. I've kicked deer off a feeder (unintentionally) and they were back by the next spin cycle.

Cool I made a homemade 5 gallon bucket Nudge feeder for the first time rather then a spinner.
That might be why they havent came up as fast too...

This is it, and behind in the woods was where he came threw but at 10 yards from me max!!!

That sounds neat, cant wait for video.
We had a new born fawn once walk within 6 feet of us, checking us out. It walked all around nearly close enough for my daughter to touch it at on point. We stood there frozen. Then it just walked away with its mom. No video phones back then. I love them interactions with animals.

While at a lease in Hillsboro I almost stepped on a fawn. Side stepped and kept on going

funny little story that happened years ago during opening weekend of hunting season. At the end of the morning hunt, I was quietly walking/hunting back towards camp when I heard a spooked deer heading my way up out of a rocky ravine, I squatted down in hopes of it being a buck, when this fawn come flying over the crest about 10 feet from me heading directly at me. I quickly stood up and the fawn fainted in it's tracks. Laid there for a good 30-45 seconds ... I probably woke it from laughing so hard. Found out another hunter was heading back to camp in the bottom that jumped the fawn that almost ran over me.

I had a similar situation opening morning last year with a cull buck I wanted to shoot. It was probably two hours after sun up and I had a few does and little bucks that had made their rounds and then I heard quite a ruckus from the woods and out ran a little doe. She ran right past my blind and kept moving. About 30 seconds after she ran past me, Goofy Junior came running out of the same spot but he we a little to the side of her trail and was running directly toward my blind. About 10 feet before he got there he jammed on the breaks and came to attention. By that time I was leaning forward staring in amazement and we had a stare off for probably about a minute. Then he slowly turned around and calmly walked out into the field.

Now one thing I should mention is I was on a project last year that kept me from doing my preseason preparations. So I had some brush in front of my blind that needed to be trimmed because it was in my field of vision. Goofy junior walked behind one of those bushes giving me time to get my rifle out. I got aimed on the other side of that bush waiting for him to become visible again. Then I saw his antlers....and the little bastard bedded down in the middle of my feed area. All I could see was his antlers and his face. I've never had that happen before!!! I waited for 30-45 minutes watching him through my scope waiting for a shot. Then when he was ready (I think he spotted his doe again), he jumped up and was moving at 100 mph and never gave me the chance at a shot.

I haven't seen Goofy Junior since....

If it was a cull buck, you shoulda shot him in the face. I would have. I couldn't have watched him for 45 minutes if I knew I was going to shoot him.

Nice! One time I was set in a ground blind and a mature doe popped up out of a creek to my right 10 feet away from me and stood there staring at me. I hadn't a chance, couldn't move to draw. Cross wind caught me and she flagged. Pretty neat time.

I was rattling one morning next to a creek 4 years ago, and I heard something head towards me running fast, I was sitting down beside an Oak tree. A one year old Spike almost ran into me coming through brush that was so thick neither one of us could see each other. He stopped at arms length, I had my gun up and ready but decided to reach out and try to touch him instead.....he just looked at me and we were both a little confused. My only thoughts were either I am going to have to grab his horns or shoot him....he was too young to shoot. I was at a disadvantage since I was sitting down, so now I kneel or stand up so I am In a Better position if that ever to happen again. He looked at me and cocked his head sideways like a dog, took a big sniff and slowly backed away.
Experiences like that is why I go into the woods! It was amazing!

I had a fawn walk up about 10 feet from me last year on public land and start eating the corn I had JUST thrown out, it was crazy.
