This reminds me of the time I was admiring a peck of freshly picked okra. The gardener told me where to go pick it.

Yeah I get that all the time at work. Someone will see something I have brought for lunch, or every now and then I'll bring some I have picked that I don't have time to prepare or can, and then someone wants some. But they want it picked and delivered. Out of 100 people that ask about it, maybe 3 will come get some that takes effort,

Use hedge trimmers to cut the tops of the stalks with pods, chunk them in a 55 gallon drum, cover it with screen, so it can dry and keep critters out. Then as they dry and decay, they should shed the seed naturally, then collect it from the barrel?

Maybe?
