Woke up this morning and noticed my dog had these red spots on his paws. Has anyone seen anything like this? Not sure if he got into some fire ants last night or some sort of allergic reaction. Headed to the vet later today, just wanted to see if anyone knew anything about this here. Thanks for the input.

My lab got a spot like that on one of her paws when she stepped on a thorn. Vet had to lance it, clean it out, antibotics and rest. Took about a week for her to get over it. But I knew that is what it was because of where we hunted and how she acted. There was also a puncture wound.

Not sure that is what you are looking at or not, weird that it's multiple locations like that. Good luck!

I have one with a couple of warts on his feet that kinda look like that, vet said to leave em, said he's too old to be put under for something like that (about 14 yrs old). You could be right about the fire ants.

Might want to change the setting to your photobucket account.
Clicked on the photo and it shows me your other pictures.

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.
Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

What was the vets diagnosis?

Yea just an allergic reaction to something. Gave him some shampoo to wash with and just wait and see how he heals up.
