The big boys were a mile away in another unit, but we did the best we could with the bucks on the mountain. This is my first archery Muley.



It was an interesting week to say the least. We had some very high highs, and very low lows. Devil is in the details I guess. Overall, another great trip in the books, and Bobo made a great last minute stalk as well.

The alfalfa should be up nice and high in the bottom south fields by the middle of October when Rob shows up. Theres gonna be some big deer hanging around for sure

I know, Taylor. I am trying to decide what to do with him. He is in the deep freezer right now. My taxidermist I have used for years does not freeze dry. I found that out now. He says he has never had an issue with the way he preserves them. That said, I do see a lot about freeze drying now, so I am at a loss of what to do. If I go freeze dry route, I will have to figure out how to get him to you. I should have taken some time to cape him out while he was fresh, but I wanted to get the velvet in the freezer ASAP.
