Field point and a soft patch of dirt in the food plot. Sorry that's all I've got.

With my Excalibur, I use the same draw string used to [censored]. Just pull up on the cocking device, safety off, pull trigger, and slowly let it down. Easy peasy. But...
REMOVE THE ARROW BEFORE DE-COCKING.

The way it's looking at my stand this year the only way I'm going to have to uncock it is if I am suddenly sick and don't feel like skinning a deer.

Academy and Bass Pro sells a decocking arrow that has a round blunt end on it that works very well---its in the crossbow section. I've also used regular bolts/arrows with field points into the dirt but ive also lost a few this way too when they go too deep. I have found the decocking arrow to work the best for me

Excalibur, I just use the cocking rope to do it. This. But instead of buying a decock arrow, why not just carry a field point arrow and shoot it into your block at the end of the hunt?

Decocking arrows and safe the hassle.
Don't talk the talk if you didn't walk the walk.
