Something else did

I hunted Tuesday and shot a meer two birds. After the hunt I found quite a few more in one small area. So the wait was on as I had to work Wednesday and play golf Thursday. (Goodness the first 6 holes showed I hadn't played in 2.5 months). Then Friday it was on. Made a little road trip, got set up and waited for the not so bright sunlight. We got the better end of the deal in the long run.







One might say "that bird appears headless" that's because it is. Took a guy out on his 3rd hunt ever and all he could talk about is how he shot the head off of one of his birds. Well we gat back to the truck and I start flipping birds over for a nice photo and a shine catches my eye. It's a band and it's on a headless bird nothing I could do but congratulate the guy. What are the odds the one headless bird is banded and is the only way to tell who's bird it is. He didn't even know what it meant to have a banded bird. But now he's pretty pumped
