Hi Guys,

How are things looking in Stephens county? Pictures welcome!

I'm on my second year on a lease in Stephens county, about 12 miles north of Eastland. First year was a good one with plenty of animals about. Too many Turkey and some annoyingly nocturnal Pig hordes.

Plenty of Doe on camera (groups of 3 or 4), the bucks seem to be pretty darn illusive and not exactly impressive by the standards being set by many posters on here. I'm happy non the less and cant wait for season to kick off and the weather to cool down.

I'll be pulling cards this weekend so will hopefully have some new pics. Here are the locals from last season (ignore the date, camera is wrong).

I had some camera issues but managed to get a few pics. Can't wait to get back and see what I get with Cams working! Just southwest of Breck.

I hunt 3 miles or so north of Ranger. Only been out there for a month. Seen the nocturnal pig hordes you mentioned. Seen a few does come to the feeders only buck we have seen yet came to a big and J block. A good rain would be nice. Seen quite a few acorns on the ground and suppose that is why we haven't seen much at the feeders.

EAT EM UP!!
