I am looking for a hog hunt for my boss, a Yankee, and a good customer from Kentucky who hunts regularly. Both men shoot and the Kentuckian loves to bow hunt.

I am tasked with finding a "Texas Hog Hunt" for these guys. Neither are pansies but I am also not willing to bet my job on a place with the normal accommodations and professionalism I would be fine with for a weekend hunt with my buddies. At the same time, I would want low fence and don't need Ritz Carlton.

Does anyone have a solid recommendation? I really appreciate it.

Wow. Low fence for hogs?

Sorry. That's just a weird criteria. Never seen a hog jump a low fence. grin

I know, I am a picky SOB

I understand your point, I also understand that there are plenty of folks willing to trot out the family Duroc for some jack wagon to shoot for a couple hundred bucks. Myself included.

Ha! I've got pigs and nice digs. But my hogs are safe and secure in a high fence. Of course, they crawl under any fence they want to... bastids!!!

Good luck. I'm sure there are some places with some awesome B&C eligible porkers... cheers

Ooooh. I see.

No, I don't have "pig traps" or tame pigs. The pigs here have been here since the 1800's. In fact, I've had 3 different dog hunters come in here on 6 different occasions. Typically they leave after sewing up and dosing their dogs with antibiotics.

The only hog they were successful in baying was a big sow.
