The salvina has been sprayed, but there's now a dead salvinia mat on top of the water in ponds and surrounding ditches. I'm interested if anyone on here has ideas on how to get open water back on the ponds. I know a tropical storm with a good 10-or-so inch rain and good south wind would definitely help. Any other thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated.

I have the same problem. Picked up Glyphosate, Diquat, and surfactant blend yesterday. I am going to spray this afternoon. In October we will be releasing Weevils to hopefully get rid of this problem.

But if anyone else knows where to obtain salvinia-eating weevils, I would appreciate the information. There information on the web, but I don't immediately see a source for them, other than TPW, who apparently just uses them on large public waters. They look good, though ... they take care of the problem and then die.
