I need advice or opinions. I can't decide on a Nikon p223 or a redfield counterstrike. Can any of you give me your thoughts?
I know they are apples to oranges. Just want to see if anyone out there has any thoughts.

I assume you are looking at the P-223 3X Carbine Scope? I have put 1000's of rounds under mine and now own 3. I have used them for multiple Nikon PR Events with zero problems. Great scope for getting on target quickly and making an accurate shot. I have shot mine to 200 yards and confess, my older eye's prefer 4X and up for anything longer. The glass is very clear with a wide filed of view and backed by Nikon's outstanding warranty. 
Longtime hunter/shooter/fisherman who loves being outdoors. I used to hunt/compete with my son, but he's now stationed in Germany. Never enough time.
