Has been there for a while and will be there for a lot longer. I would be careful picking up fresh skulls in that area this season.

SE Edwards county....what towns are considered to be in SE Edwards county? Two confirmed cases in one of the biggest and most susceptible counties in the state. No major outbreak and if folks hadn't really been looking no one would have ever known. Imagine that! Wonder who predicted no major outbreak without the necessary corresponding outbreak of biting flies?  Mark it down again. Unless you see a huge blossom in the biting fly population, you can forget about anthrax for another year.
