A fellow lease member checked my camera this weekend. There were no pictures taken and the batteries were dead. He replaced the eight AA batteries, But did not close the battery compartment. As soon as he turned the camera power on a liquid began spraying from beneath or behind the battery compartment. The liquid struck him in the face and thankfully he was wearing glasses. Liquid did not burn or anything. It is AN boiling consistency but we cannot figure out what it could possibly be.
Tried to call spy point customer service a few minutes ago but they are closed. The recording sounds as if I'll be talking to someone overseas tomorrow.
Any ideas of what in the world could possibly be going on with this camera?
