New to the forum, but recently purchased land in Eden (directly on border of Menard and Concho county) and was curious about any deer reports people might have.

Size, age genetics, movement hours to feeders, feed that is most popular, etc.

Also - can anyone suggest a good processor in the area?

Thanks in advance.

area got some more rain this weekend. Deer are decent sized if left to grow up. Each ranch will be different based upon how it is hunted. I hunt about 20 miles east of Menard, about the same distance south-east of you, and our deer are allowed to grow up. Average buck will dress around 120 or so. does around 70-90. Axis are in the area so be prepared! wink Good luck this year!

Pay it forward - Kids are the future.

Rifles are similar to boats and young women...there's no end to how much money you can pour into them without making them any more useful.
