Saw a tawny brown several shades of brown and gray Mt Lion this afternoon. Wife was with me, she was driving our 90 blazer in the mud about a mile and a half behind the shop;'

Scary part was it was coming out of the campsite of one of our hunters from last weekend in the woods...

Janie,
I was pointing left while Vicki drove (imagine that), showing her a campsite where a hunter camped last weekend really remote by himself; she said "hey see that" as it came out right to left; we watched it for a couple hun dred yards, but no pics;

Those that know us, know Vicki would not lie.......... and was stone cold sober

Vernon,

Joe Lowrey told me about a tan cat west of my place last week. That would be where you were. Now I'll be going heel all the time while I'm out there.

One was spotted in Wood county along the Sabine bottom last Spring. Never seen one myself, but always heard of the big Cats moving through ever so often.

I hunt on the Grasslands west of Ladonia. A couple of years ago I saw the prints of a big cat. It crossed the dirt road and went up a little hill. It was muddy so it left great prints. They were about the size of my hand. Might be the same cat you saw.

WOW, what a treat, all my years in the woods and I have only seen 1, possibly 2 in the wild (could have been the same one during a 2 week time) and in Erath County of all places.

Until this year I had never seen one. In a 4 month period I've seen 2. Both were between Georgetown and Granger.
One about 6:45am and the other at 4:00 in the afternoon on 971. I wish I could have gotten pictures but they
just won't stop and pose.

I've seen three in my life. All within one month just this summer and 2 of them were on the farm I hunt.

I have a customer who lives out by Rising Star and there has been a cat spotted there over the last couple of years. They are out there.

The fact that you mentioned Vicki does give this story a chance! If you had said you and Mickey it would be questionable at best! up

Saw one in 05 on our place in Cass county. Told the story on here. It was surreal.

Great post bowhunt66. Welcome welcome...I saw one near the geographical center of Texas north of Brady, years ago. About 50 yards away rolling around on it's back in a wheat field. I pulled over and watched it for a couple of minutes on the side of 377. It spotted me and boogied. They are out there.
