Stepped out behind the shop last night with the FLIR and saw a bunch of glowing red objects under the feeder.

Went in and assembled the PVS14 on to the carbine and and started stalking toward the feeder using the hand held FLIR to monitor the hogs as I approached.

At 80 yards with the wind quartering over my right rear shoulder(out of the NNW) I figured they were about to wind me so I cut loose. Dropped the first one cold using the PVS14 behind the NV compatible EOTECH then moved to the second moving target.

First shot missed so I adjusted my lead and planted him. These were my first kills with this set up and it gave me confidence in it. Sure wished I would have gotten the two huge hogs that are coming in to feed.

LOL, the big ones are the easier ones to hit!

Nice job!

Just curious, where were you? Up in Montague County, we had 92% humidity and my little PS32 was being challenged.

I staked it down when I put it up as I was afraid of that possibly happening.

You said these were your first kills with this set up. I have the same equipment the Flir and the PVS along with a designated night scope on a 6.8SPC II. Welcome to the club and I promise there will be many many more to come. It doesn't seem fair, but it is a lot of fun!!!!,!!,

My family and I would like to thank every soldier (active or inactive) for their service to this Great Country!
Thank You,
