Whats a good (somewhat healthy) oil for chicken fried dove? Olive oil is healthy but i don't like it for frying, mainly sauteing and roasting. I was thinking peanut oil might be the best option..

Peanut oil. It has a higher smoke point and it doesn't degrade as fast as say olive oil. Corn oil is another good one but it breaks down quicker than peanut oil.

recent reviews claim canola oil is better for you than even olive oil and it has a hi smoke point for frying. That's what I use.

Vegetable oil with 1/2 of a white onion in it. It will not burn!
