I'm looking to spend 800-1000 on a scope... Looking at Leupolds, and looking to buy from cabelas, or basspro (because they bore sight for u, this isn't a must) being the frugal man I am, I'd like to at least feel like I am getting a good deal/discount for this size purchase... Any help direction is appreciated..,

buy through skylar at swfa, he will treat you right based on what you are looking for, give you a discount for being a THF member and also ship it quick, or you could drive there and save the shipping and get it mounted and bore sighted.

I wouldn't mess with the Big box stores for something like this as they will be overpriced and probably not have exactly what you are looking for. Also, if you are dropping that kind of coin on the scope, mount it and bore sight it yourself, or have the guys at SWFA do it for you, but I wouldn't trust the guys at cabelas or bass pro to do a great job (decent to good job probably, but great to perfect job, not so much).
