I had a group of 8 Teal this afternoon. Quite exciting to see.

I saw a group of over a dozen last Saturday when scouting for dove. This was in Grayson county. They were moving fast as usual.

I think the Captain saw some a few weeks ago dry feeding in a field with quail next to Lake Weatherford!

Saw between 100-150 just south of Abilene the last two days. There is for sure going to be enough to hunt for us, if they stick around long enough. Can't hardly wait!

3 groups dropped into my large soil lake and buzzed around before they lit in the shallow flat ( where I usually hunt)while bird hunting this morning. Largest group had about 30. total of 65-70 between all groups. Population in that area is SLOWLY building. There enough to make me drag my azz out of bed and go scratch a limit but usually have a couple hundy by now. That could change towards the end of next week when the moon goes full and the winds go NE for a couple days. 60-80% chance of rain may accompany it though and I ain't sittin in rain to shoot teal. we'll see.......
