We have had several posts on different thermal monoculars/spotters. This one is a bit more costly, but I thought I would share some video on it. up

I have used this one for awhile. At first, one thinks that 6X is too much mag for a spotter because it has a much smaller field of view thatn say, a 2X or 3X. It took some getting used to, but I really like it now. You can ID much further out. Because of the mag, I think I see things in the woods at distance that I would miss with a smaller mag.

Given that most of us are hunting fairly flat areas, I am not sure that the narrow field of view bothers me that much once you get out around 100 yards or so, even from an elevated blind. Close in, I could see there being some hassle, but if you are getting a 6x scope, you probably aren't hunting 30-50 yards, LOL.

That is a very nice scope you have. I am not sure that 6x would be for me, but I now know that 1x isn't for me either (and that is what I currently have). There is a LOT of benefit for identification purposes to have higher optical magnification.

Nice vid. Shot down under? roflmao
